Statement
My paintings explore landscape as an emotional space rather than a fixed location. Through shifting skies, dissolving horizons, and reflective water, I am interested in capturing fleeting states of atmosphere — moments where light appears suspended between calm and storm.
Light plays a central role within these pieces. It emerges through darkness rather than existing separately from it, creating a tension between weight and illumination. The reflective surfaces within the paintings act almost as moments of pause — spaces of stillness beneath turbulent skies.
These works are not intended as depictions of specific places, but as contemplative environments that invite emotional connection.
