Called “invitation”as the tulip invites the onlooker in- the insect or the passer-by. The dropped leaf like a dropped drawbridge invites all to take a closer look at the beauty and life of the tulip. Fascinated by the beauty of tulips the artist travelled to Amaterdam to take an in-depth look at the finest specimens in the Keurkenhof gardens, Amsterdam. This piece is unfinished currently but will be completed in the coming days and before the selection date should an updated version be required.
