This is a graphite pencil duvet study on Fabriano paper, part of an ongoing series of duvet drawings. Over the past year, I have been exploring the theme of sleep. I have become particularly drawn to the shapes and forms created by duvets. Especially the folds, tones and shifting structures they make. The drawings transform a familiar and domestic object into an abstract form.
