My work explores emotional landscapes shaped by memory, transition, and our connection to the natural world. I use mixed media to build layered atmospheres where light, colour, and texture suggest inner states rather than literal places. Many of my pieces sit at the edge of abstraction, focusing on thresholds, quiet pauses, and the sense of moving from one phase into another. Whether the palette is muted or bright, each work is an attempt to hold a moment of clarity, uncertainty, or reflection. I am interested in how nature mirrors our internal shifts and how an image can evoke the spaces we carry within us.

Edina Halo is an Ireland-based mixed media artist whose practice explores nature, human connection, and emotional experience, often focusing on mental well-being and the inner landscapes shaped by memory. Born to German and Hungarian parents and living in Ireland since 2008, her multicultural background and deep connection to Irish nature strongly influence her work.

Edina is an active member of the 402 Art Collective in Arklow and regularly exhibits with the Arklow Arts Gallery, where her work is continually represented. Her portfolio includes landscapes, seascapes, and floral pieces, reflecting themes such as stability, loss, and personal transition in a fast-paced world. She has participated in the annual Hungarian Culture Days in Dublin and supports community fundraising initiatives through her art.
