My practice explores the interplay between place, memory, and form, drawing inspiration from the evolving urban environment. I am drawn to the way buildings seem to speak to one another, leaning, overlapping, and creating their own quiet rhythm. Painting is my way of capturing that conversation, where colour, form, and light shape the story of a place.

Through layered compositions in oils or acrylics, I balance abstraction and figuration, often beginning with photographs, distinct shapes, or fragments of colour. My work reflects a personal exploration of movement and connection, inviting viewers to engage with the stories embedded in the spaces we inhabit. I aim to create a moment where the eye moves between the familiar and the unfamiliar.

I am a visual artist based in Co. Wicklow, Ireland, originally from the Vendée region of western France. From a young age, I loved experimenting with materials such as fabric, paint, and clay. Before fully committing to my artistic practice, I worked in various fields, including software localization. Over the past decade, I have explored practices such as textile art, printmaking and natural dyeing. This experimentation informs my approach to painting, where I balance abstraction with architectural forms. Fascinated by urban landscapes, I explore how structures and shapes connect us to our surroundings. My creative path led me to study Interior Architecture, then to work in the field, before turning to Visual Art Practice courses at NCAD in Dublin. I have also taken painting classes at the RHA and completed two years of the mentoring programme at Turps Art School (UK). My work has been exhibited in group shows in Ireland, France, and the United Kingdom. I was longlisted for the Jackson's Art Prize in 2026.
