This piece investigates the thistle as subject matter, taking inspiration from the patterns and the repetition of its plant shapes. Exploring the density of forms while allowing spaces for release and infusions of colour. The thistle follows its own rhythm growing nomadically, pushing its familiar shapes into empty spaces, and protecting the wild.
